- 1/4 cup dry oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- handful of green sugar sprinkles

 

Mix ingredients together well. Then store in a jar until Christmas. On Christmas Eve, sprinkle liberally on the lawn and then hop into bed! The magic food will help guide Santa's reindeer to your house and make sure they don't miss you.

 

If you're giving the reindeer food as a gift, you can add one of these poems to the jar:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home!

 

 

Up on the housetop reindeer pause,

And wait for jolly Santa Claus.

While Santa's spreading his good cheer,

Let's leave some food for his reindeer.
